Our Staff

The heart of our programme is our clinical team who are all highly trained and caring professionals. Between them they have many years experience in treating a range of addictive disorders, eating disorders and mental health issues.
We also have a highly experienced medical team with a great deal expertise in both private sector and the NHS, this team includes 24 hrs on site nursing to insure the patients are comfortable and safe.
Our staffing ratio is amongst the highest in the industry at an average of over 3 staff to every client.
We have a clinical advisory panel comprising some of the worlds leading experts who assist us to develop and maintain our innovative and effective treatment programme.

The Programme

Life Works has one of the most successful completion rates of any treatment centre with an average of over 82% - the UK industry average is under 50%.
Life Works offers a full spectrum of treatment services ranging from one to one counselling to full residential treatment supported by excellent after care services.
Our programmes are intensive and effective to achieve long lasting results in a relatively short period of time.
We are medically astute: we do not believe in over medicating the individual but we also recognise that some clients require medication for psychiatric conditions.
We employ a holistic approach to treatment which includes drawing upon the best of psychotherapy, psychiatry, family therapy, art therapy, nutritional advice, massage and acupuncture. We are a very small and personalised facility with just 18 residential beds. This allows for individualised and specific treatment planning.
We have an intensive family programme which incorporates our clients and their significant others into a dynamic, multi-family group setting.
All of our clients are kept safe, as we do not allow anyone to remain in the programme if they are using drugs or alcohol or acting out behaviourally.

The Facilities

Life Works’ residential facility in Old Woking, Surrey, is a safe and comfortable place to start the process of recovery, in a beautiful listed building in the Surrey countryside which has a home away from home feel patients are cared for 24 hrs a day. The facility is 40 minutes from central London and has extensive gardens which are surrounded by a 10 foot brick wall providing total security, safety and the perfect place for quiet contemplation.
Life Works London is centrally located in a beautiful, well appointed and comfortable facility on Harley Street.
We are available 24 hours a day to provide help and assistance to all enquirers.
We are recognised healthcare providers to all the major Private Medical Insurers, including BUPA, AXA PPP, Cigna and many more.
We pride ourselves on the strict level of confidentiality we maintain. Guests are only allowed by appointment, and are monitored throughout their visit at the facility.
We are registered with the CSCI (Comission for Social Care Inspections) to ensure quality and safety which not all treatment facilities are. Always look for the CSCI logo.
