GP and NHS Liason

GP and NHS Liason for a young and dynamic mental health treatment centre serving individuals suffering from addictions, eating disorders and mental health disorders. You will be responsible for developing relationships with local and London based GP's and NHS and Social Services Commissioners across the UK to develop consistent referrals to Life Works.

Registered nurse, Staff nurse

The Life Works Community nursing team provides 24-hour care at our treatment centre in Old Woking, Surrey. Working within the nursing team the staff nurse would be responsible for the general care of clients and will report to the Nursing Manager.

The ideal candidate will have a First Level registration with NMC.

This role would suit a flexible and commited person with excellent communication skills. This role may also suit someone with an interest in or knowledge of the 12 step philosophy and detox processes.

Programme Assistant

This role involves working mainly evenings and weekends to support the clients with recreational and therapuetic activities. Typical activities may include supervising clients on weekend outings and daily walks, attending meal times to provide supervision and assisting with the orientation of new clients.

This role would suit a confident and patient person who is able to supervise a, sometimes large and challenging group. Being able to work independantly with mininmal supervision is also very important as is being able to use your initiative.
