Accessibility

Life Works is fully committed to working towards its web site being accessible as possible and inclusive for all its users regardless of their physical or mental capability.

We are working towards complying with Priority 2 of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. These guidelines include:

  • Allowing users to control text size.
  • Using an easy to read font type.
  • Images that convey important information have alternative text and where an image is used for a decorative purpose the alternative text will be blank.
  • Providing simple and consistent site navigation.
  • Assigning access keys for navigational elements.
  • Ensuring the target of each link is clearly defined.

Font Sizes
You may change the font size of this site to your preference by using your browser text settings (found in Internet Explorer View Menu > Text Size) or by pressing the CTRL key and moving the scroller wheel on your mouse (if your mouse supports it). Alternatively the font size can be changed through your browser. In Internet Explorer, select View, then Text Size, and then your preferred size.

Stylesheets
You may import your own stylesheet into this website. In Explorer select Tools, then Internet Options, and then Accessibility. Next click on any or all of three checkboxes to ignore colours, font styles or font sizes. In the same window you can change your stylesheet by clicking the checkbox that says, 'format document using my stylesheet' then simply browse to your stylesheet and click OK.
