Trauma

Testimonials

"I have learnt so much and grown as a person. The whole experience no matter how painful at times was so positive. Thank you for all your help and support" Shanon, Trauma

Many people will experience trauma over the course of their lives. Whether this occurs in childhood, adolescence or adulthood, untreated or unresolved traumatic stress causes a lasting impact and results in patterns that significantly affect  quality of life and the quality of recovery.

Some signs of unresolved trauma include depression, anxiety, emotional stress, an overall sense of dread, recurring nightmares, repeated reliving of traumatic events without resolution, and recurring relapses with no obvious triggers. Trauma can take many forms including verbal, physical or sexual abuse, being neglected in childhood or adolescence, war, rape or being the victim of violent crime.

Our staff have years of experience providing treatment of post traumatic stress. We offer a safe place to address these patterns and reclaim you life.
