Drug Detoxification
The drug detoxification programme at Life Works has proven successful in assisting many to beat their drug addiction. Upon arriving at the Life Works facility, the patient will be examined and assessed by the Life Works experienced medical staff to determine which drug detox regime will best work for their individual needs. The medical staff at Life Works understands that each person will detox from drugs in a different way, and will work with each individual to ensure that the programme chosen for them will be most effective.
The Life Works drug detoxification programme is a gentle, effective and save programme. Life Works makes the drug detox process as comfortable as they possibly can for the individual in a safe environment with constant support available. Whilst detoxing, we encourage patients that are on the residential programme to attend group meetings and one to one sessions if they feel that they are up to and can attend them comfortably.
Patients enrolled in the drug detoxification programme at Life Works will receive a full medical assessment with the GP, as well as a psychiatric assessment with the medical director to ensure that they receive the most effective drug detox for their individual needs. There is 24 hour nursing care provided for the patients at Life Works, to ensure that they are kept comfortable and to assist with any needs that they may have.
Each morning, there are nursing led groups to assist in counseling of the drug detox programme, and in the afternoon there are psychoeducational film and discussion groups to further help the individual. Those in the drug detoxification programme at Life Works have access to the detox lounge area, where they may spend some time if they feel that they are up to it.
There are other services provided to those that are in the drug detox programme at Life Works as well. Whilst detoxing, patients can receive acupuncture and massage during their treatment to help reduce and relieve symptoms that are caused by their detox from drugs. These services are provided by our experienced medical staff and are provided at no additional cost to our patients.

Those that are taking Life Work's detox regime will be comfortably staying the The Grange location which is located just 40 minutes outside of central London in Old Woking, Surrey. This beautiful location offers a peaceful and calm environment for you to spend your time whilst you detox from drugs.
The Life Work's drug detox centre at The Grange has extensive gardens for patients to walk whilst they are recovering, which can help to provide a calm and peaceful and environment that will actually assist in the drug detox programme. There is a 10 foot brick wall surrounding the property, which will help to guarantee your privacy and security while at the drug detox centre.
The drug detox clinic at The Grange is the absolute perfect location for those that are going through the drug detox programme, as it provides the escape that many need while going through this difficult process. The serene environment helps to soothe patients whilst they are detoxing, which can aid in making the drug detox process easier.
The drug detox centre at the The Grange provides a calm environment away from it all, yet also provides modern amenities that patients will need to feel comfortable whilst going through the Life Work's drug detox programme. Patients will receive high quality en-suite accommodations as well as meals that will be pleasing to them. At Life Work's, we understand that many patients that are addicts do not have a healthy, stable diet, so we work to provide them with meals that will not only encourage better health, but help encourage self care for the patient.
There is also a gym at the Life Work's drug detox centre for patients to use that feel up to it and we encourage patients that are going through the drug detox programme to enjoy walks in the gardens after meals each day as a form of exercise and therapy.
