I am a general psychiatrist treating adults with a wide range of mental health problems and am also a specialist in the treatment of those with eating disorders. I have been privileged to gain a wealth of experience working as a consultant in the NHS since 2003.

My approach incorporates medical diagnostic skills, a comprehensive knowledge of psychological functioning and a strong desire to understand the development of mental health problems within each person as an individual who has a unique set of experiences. I utilise psychotherapeutic approaches and pharmacological management, in addition to referring to a wider team when necessary.
