Test Your Alcohol Consumption

Alcohol Abuse TestWith mental health Awareness Week in Full Swing, Life Works is publishing a series of tests to help people assess and identify their own mental health. While these tests are not conclusive they may help you better understand your overall mental health and any mental illnesses you may have.

Today we have a test for alcohol abuse called the SADQ-C or the Severity Of Alcohol Dependence Questionnaire. This test consists of 20 questions and is designed to help people figure out whether they have a drinking problem. If you are concerned about your drinking you can take the test but remember that this is only a way to help you better understand your drinking habits, speaking to your doctor or a trained counsellor is the only way to get a real diagnosis.

For each test question answer by circling the most appropriate response.
